Environmental awareness
We promote sustainable procurement based on the corporate philosophy that Earth Corporation will “Act to live in harmony with the Earth.” We are aware that building partnerships with all of our business partners, and promoting procurement with attention to human rights, safety and health, and the environment while maintaining fair, equitable, and ethical relationships, ties into the creation of our corporate value and contributes to the sustainable development of society as a whole.
Basic approach
We have put forward the corporate philosophy that Earth Corporation will “Act to live in harmony with the Earth,” and we believe that achieving this goal embodies the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR). In that context, procurement activities are essential to coexistence with the Earth, so we believe that it is necessary to work with our business partners in targeting CSR procurement with the goal of contributing to the sustainable development of society as a whole.
In 2017, we put forward the Earth CSR Procurement Guidelines, and since then we have been conducting CSR procurement, but in response to recent trends regarding CSR and calls from international society, in August 2020, we amended those guidelines, and we provide information to our business partners on a regular basis.
We promote the procurement of environment-friendly packaging materials to contribute to a sustainable society and the environment.

We will implement rigorous management of confidential and personal information relating to procurement activities. - CSR initiatives
We will work together with our business partners to promote measures aimed at safeguarding human rights (e.g., prohibiting discrimination and eliminating excessive work hours), protecting occupational health and safety, and safeguarding the environment. - Relationship of trust with business partners
We will build a relationship of trust with our business partners, and will implement sustainable measures aimed at realizing mutual growth.
